We are pretty sure that all of the fans of the hit TV series 'The 100' are in mourning right now for the loss of a special someone. Yes, someone just died and yes we are going to discuss it here in this article so for those of you who have watched it already, prepare another roll of tissue. but for those of you who haven't, then you better catch up and watch it.
A flashback to Polaris on Unity Day found a frantic Becca arguing that, despite her first A.I. destroying the planet, her follow-up project (Alie 2) was worth saving. Her refusal to put Alie 2 down resulted in an attack on Polaris; she narrowly survived via escape pod, snagging the commander’s space suit for her travels. Upon landing on Earth, “Commander” Becca was hailed as a hero, a goddess of sorts.
Meanwhile, in the present… Titus’ attempts to kill Clarke literally backfired, with Lexa getting shot instead and yes this has led to Lexa's death. Shocking news for everyone. The 100 killed off Lexa last night. After focusing almost exclusively on her for a chunk of episodes and making sure we loved her unconditionally — and finally letting Clarke and Lexa consummate their love for each other — her demise was structurally inevitable.
We all know that Lexa's character was just temporary and that she was destined to go sometime soon, but it was still a shock to everyone especially with how the scene was amde.
In “Thirteen,” we were treated to a very rare set of flashbacks. On the Polaris station, Becca, her assistant, and the “Commander” all watched as ALIE 1.0 launched nukes at the United States. It was also shown that every commander is implanted with some kind of a tiny octopus aka. ALIE 2.0, and that this implant is passed down. which means Lexa have it in her as well.
There are speculations that we might be seeing Lexa again via this tiny octopus but chances might be slim just yet.
Now I know you have a lot of questions regarding this but these will only be answered if we watch the next episode. So stay tuned.
