While Prince William and Kate Middleton are known for having a happy marriage since getting married in 2011. However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s latest outing have since sparked rumors of a divorce between the two royals.

The Geek Herald reports that the couple attended the Queen’s annual Christmas Lunch, but were spotted by the media traveling in separate cars. This once again sparked the rumors of the Duke and Duchess’ impending split. Netizens who have seen photos of the royal couple attending the gathering with their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, wondered why there was a need for the two of them to travel separately when they were going to the same place.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been swamped in divorce rumors ever since the allegations made towards the Duke about having an affair. Another possible reason is that the two of them are at odds on how many children they should have. Nevertheless, people are still speculating that what may be going on behind the scenes is not as happy as they show when faced with the media and the general public. But it is easy to point out and give the couple the benefit of the doubt that because they are now a family of five, one car may not fit all of them, thus the need to travel in separate cars.

Meanwhile, if the rumors do result in William and Kate divorcing, Cheat Sheet reports the possible events that would happen after everything is said and done. One of the things that would happen is that Kate may not be allowed to bring their children outside the United Kingdom without the expressed permission of the royal family. This would imply that the royal family will be the one providing living arrangements for her and their children to make co-parenting easier.

Another event is that William will be providing financial support, and as far as titles are concerned, whether or not Kate will keep her royal titles is up to the prerogative of the Queen. Back when Prince Charles and Princess Diana divorced, the Queen allowed Diana to retain her royal titles.
