‘Peaky Blinders’ upcoming episode 4 is set to air on May 26. It will continue Tommy’s struggles with grief as he keeps his head straight as head of the Peaky Blinders crime family.
In the teaser video posted on International Business Times, the upcoming episode will feature Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and Princess Tatiana (Gaite Jansen) butting heads as they try to get information out of each other.
The promo opens with a scene of Tatiana waiting for Tommy in his office. She then prods him for proof of Father John Hughes’ (Paddy Considine) treachery to which Tommy replies, “The proof is my word. If he’s involved, I’m out.” The two proceed to psyche each other up until Tatiana subtly threatens of taking charge in the end.
Tommy’s world continues to reel following the murder of his new wife Grace (Annabelle Wallis) after she was gunned down at the inaugural Shelby Foundation Fundraising Dinner. According to The Guardian, the Shelby family seems to be getting an internal blow as well with brother against brother. Father Hughes is also unmasked as Tommy’s newest enemy.
Meanwhile, the critically-acclaimed television show is emerging as one of the biggest gangster genres to hit the small-screen. It is based on the exploits of the real-life infamous Peaky Blinders gang that operated during the aftermath of World War I in Birmingham, England.
Since the premiere of its first season on BBC on September 2013, it had been received favorably by critics. However, complaints of muffling sounds or mumbling plagued the show recently.
According to an article on Express, viewers took to social media to grumble about the show’s sound quality. It even took a toll on ratings with only less than 500,000 viewers tuning in for season 3’s second episode.
BBC One’s Charlotte Moore said, "All of us want to make sure that sound levels are absolutely so people can hear the fantastic work we are doing… It is incredibly hard to get to the bottom of where things go wrong. It is often several different problems coming together. Sound is a very exact science."
‘Peaky Blinders’ is a crime-drama television show that airs Thursday nights on BBC Two. Episode 4 is scheduled to air on May 26, 2016.
