Lee Min Ho is serious in taking his haters to the court; Actor’s lawyers announced the filing of a case against malicious commenters

Lee Min Ho is one of South Korea’s superstars but even with his status in the entertainment industry, he is also a victim of malicious comments. It was said that the actor is determined to take the offenders to court and his lawyers are preparing to file the case.

The 33-year-old star hired lawyers at LIWU law firm and they recently announced that their client, Lee Min Ho, has stated his intention to take legal action against his haters who post offending comments and spread lies on the internet.

The official statement from Min Ho’s lawyers

Last week, Min Ho’s attorneys released their official statement with regards to the lawsuit. Perhaps, this was also publicized to warn those people who leave defamatory comments that are really offensive it can drive the artists to be negatively affected.

Their mental health is damaged and in fact, the malicious comments are one of those things that were blamed as something that pushed celebrities to commit suicide. It was previously reported that Lee Min Ho also suffered from this same mental health issue due to cyberbullying.

In any case, the LIWU law firm posted this statement on its website. As translated by Soompi, part of the note reads: “The law firm LIWU is currently monitoring unlawful posts (malicious comments) regarding MYM Entertainment actor Lee Min Ho that contain senseless personal attacks, sexual harassment, the spreading of false information and malicious rumors.”

The firm added that they are currently collecting proof and listing the names of malicious commenters based on the information that was sent through an email to MYM Entertainment.

They revealed that they have checked comments in fan cafes, blogs and social media. The lawyers stressed that this is not just a simple case but they can file a criminal complaint.

The actor is getting support from his fans

The LIWU law firm also asked fans to report hate comments or fake news so they can gather more evidence. Fans are responding positively to this call to help Lee Min Ho with his case.

Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho just finished his drama “The King: The Eternal Monarch” that served as his comeback project. At the moment, MYM Entertainment has not announced any new movie or drama as a follow up to the actor’s activities yet.
