Hong Kong will be hosting ‘Next Money Fintech Finals 2017’ on January18-19, 2017, as a part of the week-long StartmeupHK Festival.
The event is brought by Visa and is expected to see over 1000 people with eminent speakers to cover fintech design, innovation & entrepreneurship. The fintech finals will see 24 startups competing with their peers for their chance at the coveted 'Best in Show' prize of $10,000 at the Fintech Finals 2017. The attendees will include more than 150 CEO’s and co-founders of startups and established fintech firms across the globe.
The event’s eminent speakers in the industry include Minerva Tantoco, Senior Advisor at Future Perfect Ventures USA; Rob Findlay, CEO of Next Money, Singapore; Amit Goel, co-Founder & MD of Lets Talk Payments; Alex Medana, CEO of Finfabrik, Hong Kong; among others.
The event will start with Shenzhen Fintech & IOT Tour, which will focus on fintech and IoT hardware. This will be followed by a workshop on fintech and series of panel sessions. There will also be a keynote by Tim Grant, the Managing Director, R3 blockchain consortium, where he will update on specific progress and stories over the duration of the existence of R3. He will also outline future frameworks and paint a vision of a new global network, including other blockchain stories and applications.
The finalists of Fintech Finals 2017 includes fintech firms like Tapview from Sydney, MyCash Online from Kuala Lumpur, Ayannah from Singapore, BluePan from Seol, BugClipper from Mumbai, among others. The tickets are available and are priced differently according to the attendee needs.
