Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster) and Jennifer “JJ” Jareau (A.J. Cook) will be facing tough choices in “Criminal Minds” season 15 episode 8. While both love their work with BAU, they will be forced by circumstances to either stay with the team or move elsewhere.
Prentiss will have to make up her mind regarding her relationship with Andrew Mendoza (Stephen Bishop). Perhaps the biggest question fans have at the moment is whether or not she will break up with Andrew in “Criminal Minds” season 15 episode 8.
In previous episodes, Prentiss was seen trying to avoid Mendoza. As reported by Newsweek, Prentiss tried to avoid his call and even ignored the roses he sent. It was also revealed that she even canceled a planned weekend in Denver with him and his daughter.
Rossi (Joe Mantegna) later found out why Prentiss acted the way she did. Apparently, Mendoza asked her to move to Colorado with him. However, she still can’t make up her mind, which explained why she avoided him as she is not yet ready to make such a life-changing decision.
Will she quit BAU and be with Mendoza and her daughter or will they call it quits? That seems to be the question she needs to answer in “Criminal Minds” season 15 episode 8. While the two seem okay with their long-distance relationship at the moment, something will likely happen in the upcoming episode titled “Family Tree,” which forces Prentiss to make a choice.
Meanwhile, JJ will be in the same boat as Prentiss. While working for the BAU team is indeed a rewarding career, the job also meant that one will be constantly facing dangers. In JJ’s case, her family needs her alive and well, which might pressure her to give up the job she enjoys, according to Meaww.
“’Family Tree’ – Prentiss and J.J. are faced with important decisions to make about their futures as the BAU travels to Beaumont, Texas to investigate a series of murdered businessmen, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Feb. 12 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network,” the synopsis on the upcoming chapter reads.
