Spanish bitcoin payment platform, Bitnovo, announced the addition of 4000 new locations that will enable customers to purchase bitcoin using cash in Spain.
The announcement stated that with the launch, customers can now buy bitcoins in more than 4000 shops in Spain with the help of Bitnovo coupons that are exchanged without registering and instantly in the app and in the web of Bitnovo.
“Throughout this year the figure will increase to about 10,000 locations. We continue in our effort to facilitate and bring the access and use of bitcoin to the world,” it stated (loosely translated).
The expansion of Bitnovo in Spain consist 800% increase in the number of locations that were previously available in the country, that were approximately 500 prior to the rollout, Bitcoin.com report stated. With the move, Bitnovo aims to establish itself as a major international brand within the bitcoin payments industry.
Earlier in March this year, the company announced that it has expanded its services on a global scale to over 130 countries and is offering free virtual VISA cards in order to commemorate their milestone. These free VISA cards can be placed online by Bitnovo customers from any of the 130 supported countries.
