It’s no secret that the Ben Affleck, Shauna Sexton relationship is a thing now and this was despite the reported advice to hold off on being in an intimate arrangement. Unfortunately, there have been reports that the relationship is causing trouble for the actor’s rehab. Adding to the issue are the recent tabloid gossips claiming that wedding bells could be on the horizon.

This Ben Affleck, Shauna Sexton pairing occurred shortly after the “Batman v Superman” star broke up with “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus, the Daily Mail reports. They have been seen together several times, and photos of the two driving around have been circulating on the web, as well. While having such a support structure is often considered good for rehab patients, this particular one seems to be having the opposite effect.

In a recent report by ET, a source reportedly revealed that everything about the Ben Affleck, Shauna Sexton situation was against every advice to the actor. The source said that Ben Affleck’s friends were hoping this was just a phase that he would get over quickly.

“He has been told to hold off on a relationship...but isn't heeding that advice. His closest friends hoped he was just dating her and would break it off after going to rehab, but he seems to get closer to her every day,” the source had reportedly told the publication

“The more time Ben seems to spend with Shauna, the more he seems to want to go home.”

Making matters worse are the reports that are circulating, which claim that a Ben Affleck, Shauna Sexton wedding could be close to happening. Gossip Cop was quick to step in and debunk such claims, though, by pointing out that the actor is still technically married to Jennifer Garner. Until the divorce proceedings have been finalized, wedding bells will not be ringing.
