Farah Hussain is a PhD Researcher at the School of Politics and International Relations at Queen Mary, University of London. Her PhD research explores the experience of Muslim women in the Labour Party using an intersectional theoretical framework. Her research interests include British politics, party politics, feminism, race and politics and local government.
Farah teaches undergraduate modules on British politics and gender politics. She is also a Research Fellow at the Mile End Institute.
Farah is elected local Councillor for Valentines Ward, London Borough of Redbridge.
