Matt is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Social Policy (CRSP) where he has pioneered work on retirement living standards in the UK, as well as leading research on living standards in London. He works across the established Minimum Income Standards (MIS) programme, leading on data analysis and the application and development of MIS in the UK and globally. His research focuses on public conceptions and understanding of living standards and how these can be used in public policy. He is currently working with colleagues in Mexico and Singapore undertaking MIS research.
