Noemi obtained her PhD at Durham University in 2012, winning the award for best PhD thesis of the year. Noemi joined Bangor Business School in 2011 as a Lecturer in Economics and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2017.
Her research is focused on political economy and labour economics, and she specialises in female labour supply, ideology, voting, fiscal policy and volunteering. Her work has been published in several top academic journals including the Economic Journal, Public Administration Review and the European Economic Review.
