Teasers for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 reveal there will be new discoveries to be featured in the show this year. The team will also follow up with new information about the previously unearthed items as they expect more Templar connections to be uncovered.

“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 premiered on History Channel this week and the Lagina brother are back at searching for treasures and ancient artifacts in Nova Scotia. And the show did not disappoint right at the first episode of a new season.

Viewers who watched the first episode of “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 already have an idea of the first major discoveries to be tackled in upcoming episodes. One of the most interesting bits in the premiere was the start of a seismic test as the team hopes to find an underground chamber.

“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 opener already provided the Lagina brothers and their team some promising results. Geophysicist Jeremy Church joined the cast in episode 1 to shed light on the seismic test they conducted. Later, it was confirmed that a chamber is situated beneath the ground, which Jack Begley declared as part of the Halifax tunnel.

A quick read on the synopsis of “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 3, airing on Nov. 27, confirms that the complete results of the seismic test will be further explored. And the summary also talks about the revelation of “the existence of a mysterious underground chamber.”

Meanwhile, it has been reported before that “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 will dig deeper into possible connections to the Templar and the island. This part was briefly tackled in the premiere as Earth Sciences expert Dr. Chris McFarlane confirmed to the team that the medieval cross found in season 5 shows silver compositions that are foreign to North America. This suggests that the cross could have originated in Europe or Middle East and strengthens the possibility of more Templar connections.

Before showing more Templar-related finds in the third episode, viewers will be delighted to watch the first-ever gold found in the history of the show on “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 2 on Nov. 20. The second episode is fittingly titled “Gold Rush” to celebrate the major development in finding treasures hidden beneath Oak Island.
