Beowulf Blockchain Supports Anti-Human Trafficking Non-governmental Organization through Education and Technology

Beowulf Blockchain, the B2B decentralized communication network pioneer, announced today that it will support Pacific Links Foundation, a leading US-based non-profit and non-governmental organization, with their mission to prevent human trafficking, and to help the human trafficking victims regain their lives by rejoining the society through education programs and financial support.

Beowulf will provide Pacific Links Foundation with financial support and education programs, including STEM subjects and English language training for at-risk children in rural areas, especially young girls. Due to Beowulf’s mission to provide an unparalleled new teaching standard via technology-driven educational experiences, the education programs will be conducted via the Victoria platform by Beowulf using high-quality native and foreigner teachers.

Victoria by Beowulf is a two-way interactive distance education platform via advanced real-time collaborative video conferencing, which brings remote students and teachers together as if they were physically in the same room. Victoria has already been utilized by institutions such as the Vietnam National University’s School of Medicine, the country’s best higher education institution to offer distance teaching to medical students, and the National Taiwanese Normal University to teach Mandarin worldwide.

“Our long-term vision is to equip disadvantaged children with the skills and resources they need not just to survive, but to thrive,” said Beowulf Founder and CEO, Dr. William H. Nguyen. “By making education more accessible and affordable, our support can help pave the way for the victims who are on the frontlines of this global threat to acquire marketable skills by expanding their knowledge and regain their life values”.

Pacific Links Foundation is one of the leading US-based nonprofit organizations with the mission to empower women and youth at the grassroots and international level. Their network of volunteers has brought years of professional expertise and deep commitment to their philanthropic work to serve in improving the lives of people in need in the Pacific Rim regions.

“Since our founding in 2001, we have had the privilege of restoring and empowering thousands of victims each year through in-house training programs and scholarships,” said Ms. Diep N. Vuong, Co-Founder & Board President of Pacific Links Foundation. “This support from Beowulf is invaluable to helping more victims to improve their quality of life. These award recipients will be the leaders who continue to inspire and open pathways for others to improve their life skills, raising self-awareness, and opening opportunities to secure gainful employment.”
